Canker disease management

Canker disease management involves measures taken to prevent canker disease in plants. Canker disease is a type of plant infection. In this disease, dead (cankers) and sunken spots form on plant parts (mainly stems and branches). Due to the infection, these areas may develop cracks and leak sap. The plant part eventually dies due to the disease. This disease usually occurs when bacteria or fungi enter the plant through a cut or wound. Management measures include trimming the infected parts, improving airflow, and preventing plant injuries.

Canker disease management can help plant growers protect their crops. By taking the right measures, like using pesticides, trimming infected areas, using clean tools, and preventing plant wounds, plant growers can keep their plants healthy.
