Asexual propagation

Asexual propagation is the process or method of reproducing the plant without the reproduction process that involves the plant's parents. There are many techniques in asexual propagation, like grafting, layering, and division.

Asexual propagation produces plants that are genetically identical to the parent plants. They hold back some traits. Some of the traits include the color of the flowers, the type of fruit, disease resistance, and more. This artificial method helps in producing the desired plants accurately and quickly.
