Ariel root pruning

Aerial root pruning is the process of trimming the roots of plants that have aerial roots. Some examples of these plants are banyan trees, ivy, and fig trees. The roots of such plants rise from the stem, branch, and trunk and grow towards the soil for support and nourishment.
