Air spade

An air spade is a tool that is used in arboriculture, landscaping, and agriculture. These tools help in excavating the soil around the plants without damaging the roots. The tool has a nozzle through which compressed air is passed to loosen and blow away the soil without damaging the roots. 

Air spades are used in the process of pruning, transplanting, and handling plants that have a weak root system. Using an air spade minimizes the time and effort that is taken during traditional digging.
